Every Year on the third Weekend of June the "Krämerbrückenfest" takes place in Erfurt.
The main part of this Festival around the bridge is a celebration of life ,of the middle age, it's arts and crafts.
It is a very good occasion to visit the capital of "the Green Heart of Germany" (Thuringia) Erfurt.
The picturesque Streets and Marketplaces between Domplatz (cathedral place), Wenigemarkt and in the surroundings of the Bridge are in these three days fulfilled of loud drivings and of colourful and culturally demanding contributions . You can choose several typical dishes, cool Drinks and of course the"Bratwurst" ;-)

Beside, of the main centers of attraction, you will also find some idyllic places, for instance behind the "Krämerbrücke" (Merchants' Bridge). There, in the Background of the Bridge, the historic market has build up its huts, tents and tables.
Merchants offer ,surrounded of tricks, artistry and entertainment, all kinds of goods and gifts.

Like every year on saturday evening a great firework Display takes part over the "Domplatz" Thousends of Visitors enjoy the spectacular Event direct in front of the Cathedral hill.
